| You can learn to make art and enjoy this unique activity that will result in a constant flow of surprise and pleasure as you tap into and explore the part of yourself that is expressive and creative. Perhaps you already have an area of creativity that you want to expand into the visual. Maybe you play a musical instrument or enjoy finding new and unusual ways to prepare food: perhaps you are a doodler, and constantly draw spontaneous designs as you talk on the phone or in class, and often felt that you wanted to make art, but didn't how to proceed. We can establish a relationship through the internet, and I will encourage and direct you to take the steps needed to express yourself in making visual art. First I need to know about you and your creative background if any. If you have any paintings, drawings or poetry, you can photograph them and send me a digital copy. We will begin from where you are. Our interchange will start from the seeds you have already planted. If will be an enjoyable experience, so let's begin with your email to me to initiate the process. To send completed lessons and exercises, you will need either a regular or digital camera. With a regular camera, you can take a photograph and get it processed into a digital CD, turning it into a JPEG file that you can email to me. If you have a digital camera, then you can photograph your visuals and load them into your computer to send. If you want, are willing or choose to make your art in 8 1/2 x 11 size, you can scan it, and change it into a JPEG file. If you have a PC you probably already have a Paint Art program loaded even though you have yet to know how to use it or where it is. That is, if you want to make art directly using your computer. So either way, either drawing and painting in ordinary space, or using a computer art program, we can establish a creative relationship that will nourish and extend your creative vision and ability. After we establish a relationship through email, if you agree, and want to begin, you will send me tuition as a check that will cover your art lessons for a certain period of time. The tuition will be for one month at a time, a 6 month period, or a year. One month will cost $60, six months will cost $300 and one year's tuition will be $500. This will ensure you of three sessions a week or about 12 sessions per month. Let's begin by sending me an email: larryepston@yahoo.com with any questions or writing about your creative interests or sending any visuals you can send. And, did you find visiting my website interesting? And if you want to know more about me, see: Letters of Recommendation and Personal Biography. Sincerely, Larry Epston |
