It was my experience with LSD in the fall of 1967 that planted the seeds that became the Center of Consciousness.  I mean LSD, the Light-Sound-Dimension audio-visual performance group that I experienced at the Berkeley Community Theatre in about 1967.  My experience was profound and moving.  I sensed that the Ultimate Consciousness of Being was reaching into my existence to uplift me into a higher understanding of life.  And it did. After attending two or three times, I was determined to make this artform my own.   I went backstage and met Bill Ham and Bob Fine and saw the machines behind the curtain.  Those experiences led to Minneapolis, Mnnesota, my home town and to the opening of the Center of Consciousness and gathering together musicians and audio-visual equipment so Leah Stevenson and I, Dick Tatge, Greg Ruud and Barbara Saltzman could develop and express this higher sense of life which was at first called: S.P.A.C.E: LIGHT-SOUND EXPERIENCE, and has now developed into VISIONS: INNER SPACE ARTFORM, and INNER VISION THERAPY.
