Poetry CD and  Booklet Three

1.
SPLINTERS

Grabbing splinters
In a swirling sea,
Frozen screams
Fly.............

2.
DON’T ROW-RELAX!

Do you row your boat
Down the stream?
Why use all that,
Extra steam?
If you go upstream,
The other way,
You have to
Make some effort,
Every day.
...............

3.
SKY BIRDS

Sky birds float
Quietly bye.
Wings leave
Soft white trails,
............

4.
MOUNTAINS  APPEARED

Mountains appeared,
The sun beamed,
Moon and stars
Raced bye.
.........
5.
NO PAST

I have no past,
I’ve never had a past,
The past is only a memory,
A concept,
A fantasy,
A misperception.

In this present moment,
Embracing all that is,
.......

6.
PINK LADY

Soft petals of pink flowers
Warmly wrap around me,
Sweet dew-drops, clear white
Like honey,
.........

7.
GIVE ME TWENTY BUCKS

Give me twenty bucks
I’ll do what you say.
If I do any more,
.........

8.
For kids learning how to
count.

ONE TO TEN

“That’s a rhyme  momma,”
“Let’s call it One to Ten honey.”
One and one adds up to two,
I think about the color blue.
.........

9.
PICNIC LUNCHES

Into the tightly pitched
Reed  basket,
Throw the last remains
Of your picnic lunches,
Sunday brunches,
And the intestines
Of your mother.

10.
TRAPPED IN THIS PLACE

I'm trapped in this place,
I have no face.
No one knows my real name,
My heart’s in pain,
And all aflame.

I said hello to this athletic guy,
.........

11.
TO ONE WHO LOVES

In the corner, there she was,
Squatting on a knobby rubber mat.
Breasts unstrung, the fat of her belly
Making ludicrous patterns across her
navel.

12.
THE NIGHT

The Night
Black and thick
Wraps around this
Puddle of light.
.........

13.
SOFT YELLOW
CLOUD

The soft yellow cloud,
Made a sound so loud,
My ears dropped into my shoe,
Then stuck out its tongue,
And said "I'm to young,"
To be part of this whoop-de-do.
.............

14.
THIS SOURCE OF LIGHT

From this Source of Light
All existence comes forth.
Manifold, multitudes pour
Endlessly,
From this fountain.
Unembarrassed,
We wiggle and squirm,
.............

15.
RECORDED IN TRANSIT:
SEVEN  MINUS TEN

The sapped sucked-out shell
Lay yellow in the blistering sun-ray,
Long ruined, and cast empty there
Amid the echoes,
Quivering with sharp regret.
......

16.
The Mighty Sneeze

Bless you for your mighty sneeze,
It blew you down,
To your hands, and  knees.
Quickly!  Quickly!  Run to bed,
Before your next sneeze,
...........

17.
THE DEAD LAY

The dead lay
In dark holes changing,
While everything else,
Is re-arranging.

Somewhere, deep
Within the ground,
The bones of Jesus,
.........

18.
THE LOVLIEST FLOWERS

The Loveliest Flowers
Roses are red
And covered with dew,
.......

19.
THE LEAVES ARE ALL
DANCING

Suddenly!
The wind arises,
Lifting the leaves
Of all colors, and sizes.
Touching together
As if they’re romancing,
They fly through the air,
The leaves are all dancing.

REALIZATION

Lost in our smallness,
We think we're the ocean,
Ignoring the bars on the cage
We are trapped in.
Limited in desire,
To know our true nature,
We waste precious years,
Wrapped in illusions.

Our life passes bye,
