Often the electricity doesn’t work, and the toilets don’t flush.

Sometimes the water doesn’t work, and when it does, it smells bad.

Magdha wants to play outdoors, but his father and mother say it is too
dangerous.

men took Bhada away.

Nobody can find where Bhada was taken, so Magdha can’t play outside
anymore.

Everyday he hears explosion that are sometimes near, and sometimes  far
away, and he knows people are dying and are being blown apart.

Visual

His school teacher Mr. Amad was exploded by a a bomb one day.

Visual

He was on his way to school and he was blown into little pieces.  They
couldn’t find all the pieces.

Visual

Magdha hasn’t many toys so he tries to read the holy  books but he can’t
understand what they say.

Visual

He looks out the window at the wrecked cars and blown-up buildings, and
hopes someday, he can go out to play.
